Photographed in the wilderness of Arctic Finland, this session offered a rare glimpse into the traditional Sami way of life. Guided by a local reindeer herder, we watched as the herd emerged from the snowy forest at the sound of his call, moving freely across the landscape before gathering to feed. Although wild and free-roaming, each reindeer is carefully cared for and known by their herder, creating a powerful connection between people, animals, and land. These images capture a moment of trust, tradition, and a way of life shaped by the Arctic landscape.
