Photographed during winter in Arctic Norway, this collection brings together some of the landscapes, wildlife and places I encountered while travelling along the coast. On the way to Ekkerøy, we stopped at Nesseby, with its little white church surrounded by snow, old grave markers and traditional fish drying racks overlooking the water. Further along the coast there were reindeer wandering across the open landscape and kittiwakes gathered on the cliffs.

After dark, the Northern Lights completely changed the landscape. Green light moved across the sky above the snow, with hints of purple appearing amongst it, and even after spending hours outside in the cold, it was difficult to drag myself away. There was always the feeling that if I waited just a little longer, the sky might do something else.
